The company located in Kaunas implements robots in wood processing, furniture manufacturing, food and electronics industry companies in Lithuania and abroad.

"The Fourth Industrial Revolution and our aim to remain competitive in global markets encourages us to be in the forefront of innovation. Over the past years, SBA Furniture Group has been actively robotizing and automating the production processes of its companies: several robots are being implemented each year. And our long-term partner Robotex is a significant contributor. By acquiring this company, we will be able to use the highest competences of robot implementation and monitoring, as well as implement even more innovative, productivity-enhancing solutions in the SBA Furniture Group and beyond" – says Director General of the SBA Furniture Company, Audrius Bendaravičius.

Robotex is one of the largest companies in Lithuania which implements robot and automation solutions. The company integrates robots in industrial companies in order to increase efficiency, ensure continuously high quality of production, and reduce production costs. "The demand for robotization solutions in the country is currently exceeding the supply. Each year, the sales of Robotex increase by one and a half - two times, and works are ordered one year in advance.  There is also a lot of space available for future expansion. Robots are used only by a small percentage of industrial companies in Lithuania, therefore the hunger for innovative solutions in business in continuously growing. We have implemented 16 robots in Lithuanian companies last year alone," – says Director of Robotex Vytautas Kazlauskas.

According to him, though SBA Group acquired 80 percent of Robotex shares, the direction of the company will not change and it will operate in all industries which have potential for the implementation of industrial robots, modern quality control systems with smart image recognition technologies and automation solutions.

Robotex has implemented robots in Latvia, Germany, Ireland, France, Czech Republic and Belarus. In addition to the SBA Group, the current and former customers of the company include Ikea Industry Lietuva, Teltonika, Maxima, Iki, Nordic Sugar, etc.
