The Vice-President of “SBA” was granded the Lithuanian Award “Verslo švyturys” (“Business Beacon”)

On the evening of April 3rd Vilnius Town Hall hosted the awards ceremony, for the third time held by the weekly newspaper and news portal “Ekonomika.lt”, during which the most successful businesspeople were awarded by the Lithuanian Award “Verslo švyturys”.
Egidijus Valentinavicius, the “SBA” Vice-President of the Strategic Development, was granted the Award of readers of “Ekonomika.lt”.
“I am extremely pleased that six new beacons will light up today the Lithuanian business community. Some of the winners are not very prominent in the business world; however the products they develop are enjoyed by each of us nearly every day. We also, on the contrary, award those who are actively involved in the business community and impart their experience to others”, in her welcoming speech said Ingrida Maciulaityte, the editor-in-chief of “Ekonomika.lt”.

Mr Valentinavicius expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated in the voting. To the jury’s question whether all the few thousand factory employees have voted, he replied that, gladfully, none of the factories have suspended their operations and, besides that, everyone managed to vote without interrupting their work.

Other “Verslo švyturys” awards were presented to Arminta Saladziene, the President of “NASDAQ OMX Vilnius”, Darius Lebedzinskas, the co-founder of “NFQ” group, Gintautas Galvanauskas, the Director General of “Danske Bank” Lithuanian branch, and Arunas Babrauskas, the head of “Mediafon”. This year the panel of experts has also established a special nomination “For the Effectiveness in the Public Sector”. The latter award was granted to Milda Darguzaite, the former head of “Investuok Lietuvoje”.
A solemn awards ceremony in Vilnius Town Hall was attended by over 150 representatives of business and politics. As the concern Vice-President said from the stage, next year the company will aim for awards in other categories as well, especially in the field of innovations and the most interesting business decision.
