Sales of “Utenos trikotažas” Group increased by 35 percent in the previous year

Sales of the “SBA” Concern-controlled textile manufacturer “Utenos trikotažas” increased by more than one third in the past year. Sales of the group grew because of the export. “Utenos trikotažas” Group topped LTL 69.5 million of consolidated sales in the previous year, which is 35.1% higher than in 2012. Comparing with the same period in 2012, in the fourth quarter sales of the group increased by 27.8% to LTL 17.5 million.

Comparing with 2012, sales of the main company of the group, the largest knitwear manufacturer “Utenos trikotažas”, grew by 37.5% to LTL 57.4 million in previous year and increased by 31.2% to LTL 13.9 million in the fourth quarter.

“Sales have increased due to the enhanced export to the main clients in Russia, Austria, Switzerland and Germany,” said Gintautas Bareika, Director General of “Utenos trikotažas”.

Controlling interest of 51.12% of “Utenos trikotažas” is owned by the “SBA” concern.
Shares of “Utenos trikotažas” are listed on the Official Trade List of the “Nasdaq Omx” Vilnius stock exchange.
