Director Gintautas Vitkevičius UAB Visagino Linija is one of the largest and modern furniture factories in Eastern Europe. Total investments in Visagino Linija amounted to 73.5 million litas, some of which (26.7 million litas) were granted from the EU Structural Funds. It is the first private capital investment of such amount in Visaginas region. The new factory was opened in autumn of 2006 in order to increase the production capacity of SBA furniture group, create new technological opportunities, and expand the product selection. Visagino Linija produces modern style carcass furniture from “honey comb” and wood chip board, intended for living-room and bedroom, as well as wardrobes and shelves. The factory applies the “honey comb” and wood chip board furniture production lines complying with the latest technologies. Technical opportunities allow working with “honey comb” elements, the thickness of which is up to 60 mm. Finish possibilities are wide as well, from covering with natural veneer to covering with pigmented varnish.
